Pucker Up For Perfect Pink Lips

Pucker up girls! Here are all the tips you need to achieve that perfect lipstick look.
I was in a pink mood today but it will obviously work with any color you love, all you need is:

·         Lip balm/Vaseline/coconut oil

·         A tooth brush

·         A lip liner in the same or similar color

·         Lipstick

·         Light shimmering eye shadow.

Apply lip balm (you can do this before you do your make up so it gives time for your lips to absorb it and soften) and gently brush lips in circular motions for a few seconds. This will bring out the natural color of your lips and plump them up.

Use your lip liner to draw an X on your top lip to create a perfect Cupid’s bow shape. Then outline both corners of your lips. Once you’ve done that, outline the rest of your lips, making sure to do it on the very
edge. Finally, fill in the rest of your lips with the liner.

Apply a coat of lipstick over the lip liner

Apply a drop of makeup on outer corners of lips and blend to get a clean look.

Take some eye shadow and apply softly on the center of both the upper and lower lip. Don’t rub, just pat lightly.

  Voilá! Perfect lips every time!

XOXO,
Samantha

Grandma’s Cinnamon Roll Recipe

Here’s a treat for all of you today! My grandma’s coveted cinnamon roll recipe!

Hope you love it and treasure it as much as my family does!

INGREDIENTS:
·         2-3 tbsp. cake yeast (instant yeast)
·         ½ tsp. salt
·         5-6 tbsp. sugar
·         6 cups of flour approx. (if the dough is too runny, keep adding flour until you get a firm consistency)
·         2 cups milk
·         2 eggs, well-beaten
·         ½ cup melted butter
FILLING:
·         4 tbsp. sugar
·         4 tbsp. butter approx.
·         1 ½ tsp cinnamon
·         ½ cup chopped pecans
·         ½ cup cranberries or raisins
GLAZE:
·         1 can La Lechera
·         1 cup of milk

Add yeast to warm water, or following directions on package.

Heat milk in pan until warm and add sugar, butter, and salt.  Make sure milk does not boil when combined with yeast.

Add beaten eggs to milk mixture and combine with yeast.

  Mix with flour until firm.

Knead the bread dough for 7-10 minutes.

Place in greased bowl, lightly grease surface of dough, and cover it with clean, moist towel.

When dough doubles in bulk, punch down and knead for a few more minutes.

Cut dough into two halves and roll out each piece.

Mix sugar, butter, cinnamon, cranberries and nuts

Spread on dough; roll up like jellying roll, and cutting into 3-inch pieces.

Place on greased pan, cut side up, and allow to rise again for about 10 minutes.

Set oven to 400 F and bake for 20 minutes or until golden.

Milk and La Lechera and drizzle on rolls while hot.

And that is Grandma’s famous cinnamon roll recipe! These things are addictive so ENJOY!

With lots of love and yours truly,
Samantha

FIND YOUR PURPOSE

Something that really amazes me, is the fact that every and each person that has been, that is and that will be in this world has a purpose in life!
I know that most of the times that sounds ridiculous but I truly belive it. We all have talents, some are hiden and its up to us to find them and apply them in our daily life. So here are steps I think help's us all find our talents and therefore our purpose:

DARE TO TRY NEW THINGS! That is the only way you'll know you are good doing something, and if you are not it's ok :D

BELIEVE IN YOU! Alot of people can believe in you, the whole world can believe in you! but if you don't belive in yourself  nothing will happen. When you start believing in yourself things will happen.

IMAGINE THE IMPOSSIBLE! Once you find your purpose your imagination will run wild! And creating what you have in your mind for me brings some of the biggest happiness ever!

HELP OTHERS! Once you use your talents to help other you will find what is your purpose.

I hope we can all find courage to try new things, inspire people and help each other because our world would change and would be a better place and we know we need that change.

Love and kisses,
Denise

SEQUIN elbow patch on a plain cardigan:

This way I did it is a bit time consuming.  HOWEVER, I know they sell already-sequined- fabric but they don’t here where I live so I bought a bag of diamondy looking sequins and I loved them so much that I sewed them on one by one J

OK, you need:

SEQUINS

needle/thread

cardigan

fabric to sew the sequins on
First you will cut out your shape. Either an oval or heart.  Don’t make it too big/too small. You might want to measure the width up to your sleeve size.  *a good tip: rub normal white glue on the edges to keep the edge of your shape from fringing.*

Start from the bottom, make your way around the heart clock-wise, or counter-clock wise.

I sewed mine on one facing up, the next facing down, and so on and so on. It was just easier for me this way.

Repeat this step for the entire shape.

Once you’re finished with the first layer, start the same way you did with the second layer.  Over lap the sequins a little, to ensure FULL sequin coverage. With no white spaces.

Continue J

Pretty soon you will see it all coming together.

It’s ok if you loose your heart shape while filling in your heart.

Soon, (well not that soon ;) ) you will have your 2 sequin heart shapes ready to sew onto your cardigan.

Put on your cardigan, and bend your elbows.  Have someone draw a dot right where your elbow creases.  This is how you will know where to sew on your hearts.

Once it’s done it looks So FAB.

It just really adds so much CHIC to this cardigan and I love it.

And that, ladies, is how you put a little sparkle into your wardrobe.

From your one&only,
Rozslin
